Much of the buildings, weapons and enemies have been painstakingly made to look like the original. The original game's skill system is also being brought back, along with some animated 2D artwork of the Vault Boy for each skill.

Using the Creation Engine used to make Skyrim and Fallout 4, this team hopes to create a faithful copy of the Mojave Wasteland map, with all the iconic locations, characters and quests from the original. Packed full with high-end weaponry and armor, it's a great place to stop at and sell junk, repair weapons and upgrade armor.įor customers, there is actually very little to interact with. Located just south of the Freeside entrance to New Vegas, Gun Runners is arguably the most valuable location in the Mojave Wasteland.
